Utah Lake Petition
A private developer is spreading misinformation about the condition of Utah Lake and what the developer says it will do to attempt to “restore” the lake… in exchange for the State of Utah deeding over to the private developer land currently publicly owned for the benefit of all Utahns. Highly knowledgable BYU and UVU scientists say that, if permitted to proceed, the developer’s actions could irreversibly damage the lake costing taxpayers billions and depriving future generations of the lake’s natural beauty and valued ecosystem services. Instead, we need environmentally sound, evidence-based management to protect and help our unique, beautiful and dynamic lake.
